Anita Devineni is assistant professor of biology at Emory University. Her lab studies taste-processing in Drosophila as a model to understand how neural circuits transform and integrate information for flexible behavior.
Devineni earned her B.S. in biology at Stanford University and her Ph.D. in neuroscience at the University of California, San Francisco. She conducted postdoctoral research with Richard Axel at Columbia University before starting her lab at Emory in 2022.
