Brad Wyble is professor of psychology at Pennsylvania State University. His lab uses behavioral and computational studies to explore how attention and memory work together to let the brain build an understanding of the world. He is also co-founder of Neuromatch Academy, a nonprofit organization that educates professionals in computational approaches to scientific study, with an emphasis on neural and climate data.
After earning his B.A. in computer science at Brandeis University, Wyble earned his Ph.D. in the psychology department at Harvard University, in Michael Hasselmo’s lab. Afterward, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Kent at Canterbury, University College London and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a faculty member at Syracuse University before moving to Penn State.
