The ALS Canada-Brain Canada Trainee Program supports eligible trainees who have applied to, been accepted for, or are within the first three years of a PhD program under the supervision of an investigator holding an academic position at a qualifying Canadian institution, as defined by CIHR guidelines.
Non-Canadians training in Canadian labs are eligible to apply. If awarded, they must demonstrate eligibility to work/study in Canada for the duration of the requested funding.
This award provides 25,000 CAD per year for up to 3 years, with funds designated for stipend/salary support only.
