The ALS Canada-Brain Canada Trainee Program supports eligible trainees who currently hold or have secured a postdoctoral position under the supervision of an investigator at a qualifying Canadian institution, as defined by CIHR guidelines.
Non-Canadians training in Canadian labs are eligible to apply. If awarded, they must demonstrate eligibility to work/study in Canada for the duration of the requested funding. Applicants should be transitioning from graduate work to a postdoctoral position or be within the first two years of postdoctoral studies at the time of application.
This award provides 55,000 CAD per year for up to 3 years. Funds may only be designated for stipend/salary support.
