The NINDS Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) for Training of Postdoctoral Fellows (F32 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and supports outstanding scientific training of highly promising postdoctoral candidates with outstanding mentors. Candidates are eligible to apply for support from this program from ~12 months prior to the start of the proposed postdoctoral position to within 12 months after starting in the proposed postdoctoral position. Proposed projects should be in the bold and/or innovative in areas of neurological studies and/or stroke. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. The host institution may be in the USA or abroad. The Fellowship provides up to 3 years of stipend funding + additional benefits.
