Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP)

The RFA 8c/Drug Discovery Award from the Pharmacotherapies for Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders Alliance (PASA), funded by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), supports nonclinical research studies focused on Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders (ASUD), particularly but not limited to comorbid with PTSD and other mental health conditions. The drug discovery research is intended to increase the potential pool of compounds for investigation in subsequent pre-clinical studies and clinical trials.

The program is open to researchers in the USA and worldwide, including both academic institutions and biotech companies.

The award provides up to 600,000 USD (indirect and direct costs) for up to 24 months.
