Gregg Wildenberg is a research scientist at the University of Chicago, where he studies the ontogeny and phylogeny of brain circuits using connectomic approaches. He also develops new technologies to map brain circuits faster and at larger scale with the goal of making mapping whole brains as routine as sequencing whole genomes.
He earned his B.S. in biology at St. Norbert College and his Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University in the lab of Albert Reynolds. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University under the mentorship of Andrew Murray.
