Advancing Groundbreaking Research in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases Team Award (British Columbia, Canada)

The Advancing Groundbreaking Research in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases Team Award from the Canada Brain Research Fund (CBRF), funded by the Brain Canada Foundation and others, supports bold and novel research to address knowledge gaps on AD and PD in British Columbia (BC), Canada.

Applications are open to consortia of at least two researchers (a primary applicant and a co-lead) and at least one trainee. The primary applicant must have and maintain an eligible appointment at a BC-based institution that holds an institutional agreement with Health Research BC. Each award provides a grant of up to 500,000 CAD per project over 3 years. The award does not cover overhead costs.

Letters of intent open on January 5, 2026, and close on February 2, 2026. The Full application deadline for applicants is March 26, 2026. The deadline for host institutions is April 2, 2026.
