The Albert Einstein World Award of Science from the World Cultural Council (WCC) recognizes eminent scientists whose achievements can serve as an inspiration for future generations. Candidates may be individuals or institutions in one of the Life Sciences, such as Neuroscience, Earth Science, Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry; or in one of the Natural Sciences such as Physics, Mathematics or Astronomy. Organizations worldwide may submit nominations by invitation only. Self-nominations are not accepted. The prize consists of a diploma, a commemorative medal and an Award Cheque.
The prize is awarded every year. The next nominations must be submitted by January 31, 2026.
