The Amgen Scholars Program at Kyoto University, funded by the Amgen Foundation and Kyoto University, supports Asia-based undergraduate students in science and biotechnology research at Kyoto University as vacation scholars. Applications are open to undergraduate students who are enrolled in colleges or universities in Asia that award a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent). The applicant must have a strong record of academic performance, good knowledge of English, and an interest in pursuing a PhD.

The program provides a stipend of 180,000 JPY, travel expenses, and accommodation. The full-time research positions program lasts 2 months, June 5, 2026 – August 6, 2026.
