The Cross Border Grants from the Alzheimer Forschung Initiative eV (AFI) support international collaboration among scientists in the field of Alzheimer’s and dementia research. The Primary Investigator must be a PhD or MD, assistant professor (or equivalent) or higher at German public universities and research institutions. Applications must be submitted jointly by researchers from two countries.
The grant provides up to 200,000 EUR over 2 years.
Submissions of Letters of Intent open on January 2, 2026, and are due January 30, 2026.
