The Travel Grants from the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) support PhD students and postdoctoral neuroscientists to attend the FENS Forum 2026, taking place from 6-10 July in Barcelona, Spain. Eligibility:
- Be between the 2nd year of a PhD programme or a postdoctoral fellow up to 2 years post-PhD (excluding documented parental or medical leave).
- Be registered for the FENS Forum 2026.
- Have submitted an abstract as the first author and will present an on-site poster presentation.
- A PI submits an evaluation on the applicant’s behalf (via automated email form).
- Not a resident of Spain.
The grant amount depends on the proximity to the event location.
Applications close on January 27, 2026. Note that the travel grant application is integrated into the abstract submission process. Only participants who are registered and paid for onsite participation and who have submitted poster abstracts can apply for FENS travel grants.
