The INTERACT Doctoral Programme is led by the University of Copenhagen and co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe. The programme focuses on interdisciplinary “convergence science” PhD projects that bridge biology and biomedicine with physics, chemistry or engineering, aiming to develop innovative solutions for complex health challenges, particularly cancer and neurological diseases. Research areas include, in a converged and interdisciplinary way:
- Biological and disease mechanisms
- Medical chemistry and biosensing
- Technologies for diagnosis and treatment
The programme has a duration of 36 months and includes a monthly gross salary beginning around 4,193 EUR plus pension as a PhD fellow and full social benefits.
The applications for the third call will open in December 2026.
