The Jacquelin Goldman Congressional Fellowship from the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Psychological Foundation (APF) supports the training of psychologists at a member of Congress or a congressional committee. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide developmental and clinical psychologists with expertise in the psychological development of children with an invaluable public policy learning experience; to contribute to the more effective use of psychological knowledge in government; and to broaden awareness about the value of psychology-government interaction among psychologists and within the federal government. Candidates must have a doctorate in psychology or a related field, be full APA members (or applicants for membership), and be U.S. citizens.
The fellowship provides for a one-year appointment, a stipend of 93,750 USD, reimbursement for health insurance coverage, and a $3,500 USD stipend for professional development.
