The Mika Salpeter Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) recognizes an individual with outstanding career achievements in neuroscience who has also significantly promoted the professional advancement of women in neuroscience.
Nominations must be made by an SfN member. Nominees do not need to be SfN members. Self-nominations are not allowed. The Awardee receives a 5,000 USD prize and complimentary registration, transportation (economy air or ground), and two nights’ hotel accommodations for the SfN annual meeting.
This is an annual award. The next nomination opens on March 23, 2026, and closes on May 7, 2026.
