The NeuroAdapt Postdoctoral Fellowships is coordinated by the FutureNeuro and co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe. The fellowship supports postdoctoral researchers to develop innovative, patient-centred solutions for brain diseases within a world-class, interdisciplinary research environment in Ireland. The programme equips the next generation of research leaders with advanced scientific, translational, and intersectoral skills, fostering impactful careers in academia or industry.

Research projects must align with one of the programme’s core thematic areas:

  • Diagnostics
  • Therapeutics
  • Digital Health

Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the host institution for more than 12 months in the 3 years preceding the application.

NeuroAdapt funds Postdoctoral Fellowships of 24 months. Fellows are employed by an Irish host institution affiliated with FutureNeuro. The minimum gross salary is 44,385 EUR per year, including a living allowance and a mobility allowance, with an additional family allowance where eligible. Fellows also receive funding for research consumables, travel and training, access to programme-wide training and development activities, an individual training budget, structured supervision, and a mandatory 3-6 month intersectoral secondment.
