NOVEL MSCA Postdoctoral Programme (brain health | Finland)

The NOVEL MSCA Postdoctoral Programme is coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland and co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe. The programme integrates neuroscience, data science, innovation management, and social and legal studies, providing interdisciplinary and intersectoral training, secondments with industry and healthcare partners, and support for research translation and commercialisation. The NOVEL Postdoctoral Programme supports 14 postdoctoral researchers in Kuopio, Finland, to develop innovative brain health solutions across 4 synergistic research areas:

  • Prevention and Care
  • Methods and Data
  • Innovation in Society
  • Ethics and Wellbeing

Each fellowship offers a 36-month full-time contract with a gross monthly salary of 3,980 EUR plus up to 4,500 EUR annually for travel, flexible working hours, and potential family or special needs allowances.
