Science & PINS Prize for Neuromodulation (worldwide)

The Science & PINS Prize for Neuromodulation recognizes innovative research that modulates neural activity through physical (electrical, magnetic, optical) stimulation of targeted sites in the nervous system with implications for translational medicine. The Prize is presented by the journal Science and Beijing PINS Medical Equipment Co. Ltd. Applicants must be Junior Investigators with an advanced degree received in the last 10 years and must be 45 years or younger as of 1 January 2026.

The prize consists of 25,000 USD and is awarded annually for outstanding research as described in a 1,000-word essay based on research performed in the past three years. The winner’s essay is published in Science. The Runner-up is awarded 5,000 USD and has their essay published on Science Online.
