The XXcelerate: Turning Existing Research Into Impact for Women funding call from the Nuttall Women’s Health seeks to support research that rigorously examines outcomes in female populations, leveraging completed or ongoing clinical trials. XXcelerate will advance its mission through two primary funding mechanisms:
- Re-analysis of Completed Clinical Research Studies
- Support of Ongoing Clinical Research Studies
Proposals across any area with potential to impact women’s health are welcome, including but not limited to:
- Metabolic Conditions
- Cardiovascular disease
- Autoimmune and inflammatory disorders (e.g., IBD, lupus)
- Aging, longevity, long-term health
- Neurological disorders
- Mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Cancer
The PI(s) must hold a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and must have a faculty position or equivalent at a college, university, medical school, or other research facility. Early-career investigators are eligible and encouraged to apply. Investigators, inventors, and companies seeking to perform novel research are encouraged to apply. Interdisciplinary teams and innovative approaches are highly encouraged.
Applicants may apply for funding for 1 to 3 years, there is no specific funding limit.
