The 2026 Clinical Research Training Fellowship from the Health Research Council of New Zealand supports medical, dental, and allied health professionals who have a current clinical role to undertake a PhD or equivalent qualification. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or hold New Zealand residency, be a medical graduate, dental graduate, psychologist, nurse, or other graduate with research ability, background training, and expertise in fields relevant to clinical research.
The fellowship provides non-taxable stipend, university fees, and research expenses are available for up to three years full-time or four years part-time. A maximum of $260,000 is available.
