The 2027-28 Research Fellowship Grant from the Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) provides one-year fellowship funding in basic neuroscience and neurosurgical research, training neurosurgery residents who are preparing for academic careers as clinician investigators.
Applicants must be physicians who have been accepted into, or are currently in, approved neurological surgery residency programs in North America, the USA or Canada. U.S. citizenship is not required.
The award provides up to 50,000 USD for a one-year fellowship, covering direct costs only.
