The Maupertuis Research Grant for Post-Docs, awarded jointly by the Schweizerische Hirnliga and the Maupertuis-Stiftung, funds a three-year neuroscience research project for early-career researchers in Switzerland. The grant supports brain research in medicine, biology, psychology, computer science, or a related field, carried out at a recognised scientific institution or clinic in Switzerland.
Candidates must have completed a doctorate in medicine, biology, psychology, computer science, or a related field from a recognised university in Switzerland or abroad, be under the age of 46, and dedicate their research activity fully (100% of their workload) to the supported project in Switzerland.
The grant covers the recipient’s salary and social security contributions, up to a maximum of 110,000 CHF per year, for a total duration of 3 years. Indirect research costs are not covered.
