The APS Neural Control & Autonomic Regulation Section Lifetime Achievement Lecture, from the American Physiological Society (APS), recognizes the long-standing and successful career of a world-renowned, distinguished investigator who has made substantial contributions to improving our understanding of autonomic regulation in normal or disease states. The recipient’s body of research should be widespread, creating new research pathways that have revolutionized our understanding of autonomic neuroscience.
The application is open to current members of the NCAR Section who have made original and noteworthy contributions to the advancement of autonomic regulation in all aspects of the discipline.
The award provides 1,000 USD plus up to 2,000 USD in travel expenses and reimbursement of the early registration fee for the American Physiology Summit. This is a one-time award tied to delivery of a 45-minute online lecture.
