The CBS Co-Creation of Knowledge Project – Co-Creation Laboratories is a call for proposals from the RIKEN Center for Brain Science (RIKEN CBS) inviting collaborative research projects that use CBS’s research seeds and resources, conducted jointly with a CBS hosting laboratory.
Applications are open to researchers at research institutions (other than RIKEN), universities, and medical organizations in Japan. Applicants must have coordinated in advance with the chosen CBS hosting laboratory, and both sides have designated a research representative. A three-year research plan is required.
The funding provides up to 5,000,000 JPY per year, allocated to the CBS hosting laboratory for a three-year research plan. Researchers formally appointed as RIKEN visiting researchers may also receive up to 500,000 JPY per year for accommodation and travel expenses. Up to two projects will be funded.
