The CogSci x Gorilla Grant from the Cognitive Science Society and Gorilla Experiment Builder supports innovative behavioral and cognitive research around the world. The aim is to empower researchers at all stages of their careers to push the boundaries of science by providing essential resources for conducting high-quality, scalable, and impactful studies through online experimentation tools.
Applications are open to CSS members at any career stage or discipline – students, early career researchers, and seasoned academics – who are interested in behavioral or cognitive science research. Applicants must not be currently part of a Gorilla subscription – free (PAYG) accounts are allowed.
Each of the five (5) grant recipients receives:
- One-year Gorilla Researcher Standard Subscription: Valued at $1,510, the subscription includes access to premium tools such as Game Builder, Shop Builder, and Multiplayer.
- $300 cash: This can be used to recruit participants, purchase Gorilla tokens, or cover other research-related costs.
- Personalized support: A one-on-one consultation (Study Mapping Session) with a Gorilla Research Specialist to help design and launch the study.
