Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS) (USA)

The Collaborative Research in Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS) program from the National Science Foundation supports collaborative research projects and the sharing of data and other resources for the study of computational neuroscience. Two classes of proposals are considered in response to this solicitation:

  • Research Proposals describing collaborative research projects, and
  • Data Sharing Proposals to support sharing of data and other resources.

Applications are open to US-based researchers. Domestic and international projects will be considered, including proposals seeking parallel international funding. The funding typically ranged from approximately $100,000 to $250,000 USD per year in direct costs, with durations of three to five years.
