The Curative Therapies Research from the FRAXA Research Foundation provides funding for researchers worldwide to promote accelerated development of curative therapies for Fragile X, including – but not limited to – gene therapy, gene repair, gene reactivation, protein replacement, mRNA therapeutics and targeted ASO treatments.
Research topics may include development of enhanced model systems or biomarkers, as well as specific therapeutic development. There is no limit to the structure of the grant (can fund PI, postdoc, grad student, technician, supplies, etc.) or time frame (though all grants over one year still need yearly renewal). The Grants provide up to 100,000 USD per year for direct costs only.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis.
