The Development and Skills Enhancement (DSE) Award is offered by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The funding provides 100% support for the award holder’s salary for up to 2 years, plus training, conference, and mentorship costs, with annual limits depending on the chosen duration. Applicants can choose 12, 18, or 24 months, with part-time options between 50% and 100% FTE.
