The Distinguished Scientist Award from the Society for Biopsychosocial Science and Medicine recognizes outstanding senior scientists and physicians who have made an important and protracted contribution in any research field within the Society’s bailiwick.
Nominees must be senior scientists and physicians who have made an important and protracted contribution in any research field within the Society’s bailiwick. In addition, nominees should be members of the Society and would be expected to have contributed substantially over the years to its aims and goals.
The award consists of a commemorative plaque, a check for $1,500, and a complimentary meeting registration. The recipient must attend the Annual Meeting.
