The EBBS Mid-Career Award from the European Brain and Behaviour Society (EBBS) recognizes an active researcher in the areas covered by the Society who has a distinguished research record over a substantial period, assessed on research output, research funding, leadership roles, mentorship qualities and promoting inclusivity.
Nominees must hold a Ph.D. (or M.D.), be 10-20 years post-award of their Ph.D. (with adjustment for career breaks), and be a fully paid-up member of EBBS when the nomination is submitted. Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by a current EBBS member. Nominations of individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups are actively encouraged. Winners are expected to give a talk in person at the next EBBS meeting.
Nominations are due by March 2, 2027.
