The Grand Challenge “Digital medical devices in mental health” call for proposals from the Bpifrance, funded by the France 2030 plan, aims to support innovative projects in the field of digital technology in mental health and psychiatry, and to promote the rapid emergence of leading companies in their field with the potential for global reach by accelerating one of the stages of development and market access.

The goal is to bring together users, designers, evaluators and funders to propose DMNs in mental health and psychiatry that meet the identified challenges and needs. Projects can fall under the following themes, depending on the medical needs identified in mental health and psychiatry, namely: prevention, screening/diagnosis, care or even remote monitoring by digital medical devices (DMN) in the context of mental health including, in particular, psychological disorders, addictive disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

The funding provides at least 100,000 EUR for academic beneficiaries, and no less than 500,000 EUR to large companies.

Applications are due on September 30, 2025.
