The IBRO Speaker Support from the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) provides targeted funding support for smaller neuroscience events, including symposia, workshops, and short courses, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the participation of speakers from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. This program is open to any organizer of smaller neuroscience events, including symposia, workshops, short courses, etc.
The maximum amount of funding provided is region specific:
- Africa 3,000 USD
- Asia-Pacific 5,000 USD
- Latin America 5,000 USD
- Pan-Europe 9,000 USD
- US/Canada 3,000 USD
