The Joseph Erlanger Distinguished Lectureship of the APS Central Nervous System Section, from the American Physiological Society (APS), recognizes a scientist who has made major and meritorious contributions to the scientific areas represented by CNS.
The nominee must hold an advanced degree in a CNS-related field and be nominated by a member of the CNS Section Steering Committee.
The award provides 1,000 USD plus up to 2,000 USD in travel expenses and reimbursement of the early registration fee for the American Physiology Summit.
