American Physiological Society (APS)

The Neural Control & Autonomic Regulation Section (NCAR) New Investigator Award from the American Physiological Society (APS) recognizes an outstanding investigator in the early stages of their career whose research advances the field represented by the NCAR Section.

The application is open to APS members in good standing with a primary affiliation in the NCAR Section who have made significant contributions to the area represented by the Section. Applicants must hold an assistant professor position or a comparable research-track role at an academic institution or in industry, must have held that position for no more than three years from the application deadline, and must be within 10 years of completing their advanced degree.

The award provides 1,000 USD, plus reimbursement of the early registration fee to the American Physiology Summit.
