The Next Generation Research Grants from the American Brain Foundation support early-career researchers who are studying disease mechanisms, diagnosis, or treatment or prevention of brain diseases and conditions, and whose research has potential relevance for more than one condition.
Applications must meet all the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be clinician-investigators with an MD, PhD, or equivalent terminal-level clinical or research degree.
- Applicants must have completed a clinical residency or a PhD within the past 4 years.
- Applicants at accredited USA and international institutions are eligible to apply. There is no citizenship requirement.
The funding provides 150,000 USD over two years, for direct costs only.
