The NIH Data Science to Advance Women’s Health Research fellowship is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH). This fellowship supports postdoctoral fellows in applying data science methods and frameworks to enhance the harmonization, integration, and analysis of research and clinical datasets relevant to women’s health, with the aim of identifying emerging areas for future women’s health research and contributing to an artificial intelligence (AI) platform for women’s health. Fellows are expected to be fully engaged either in-person or in a hybrid arrangement at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, or foreign nationals. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field, received within the last five years, and demonstrate an interest in women’s health research. Current graduate students nearing degree completion may also apply, provided their degree is awarded before the appointment begins.
The fellowship provides an annual stipend of 88,000 USD. The appointment is initially for one year and may be renewed annually for up to four additional years.
