The NIH Postdoctoral Opportunity in Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Program Impact Analyses is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR). This research fellowship is conducted under the guidance of OBSSR staff and leadership. Fellows are expected to be fully engaged either in-person or in a hybrid arrangement at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, and the research must be conducted in the USA. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field — including Computer, Information, Data Sciences, Life Health and Medical Sciences, or Social and Behavioral Sciences — received within the last five years. Current graduate students nearing degree completion may also apply, provided their degree is awarded before the appointment begins.
The fellowship provides an annual stipend of 75,000 USD to 88,000 USD. The appointment is initially for one year and may be renewed annually for up to four additional years.
