The NIMH T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship for Translational Research in Child Psychiatric Disorders, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), supports postdoctoral training at Columbia University’s Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to conduct translational research in childhood psychiatric disorders, spanning animal models, neuroimaging, clinical trials, and the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based treatments.
The application process is open to child psychiatrists, psychiatrists, neuroscientists, and psychologists holding an MD or PhD who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Applicants with identities historically underrepresented in science, including those from minoritized or economically disadvantaged backgrounds and people with disabilities, are particularly encouraged to apply.
The fellowship includes a stipend based on NIH NRSA postdoctoral rates according to years of relevant experience.
