The GNS Travel Grants for the Göttingen Conference of the German Neuroscience Society from the Neurowissenschaftliche Gesellschaft (NWG) provide grants for young qualified researchers for participation in the 17th Göttingen Meeting of the German Neuroscience Society. The meeting takes place 17 – 19 March 2027.
Eligibility:
- eligible are doctoral students and young postdocs up to four years after completion of their PhD or MD,
- who participate with their own contribution as first author,
- who have not received any other sources of funding or another grant to attend the Göttingen Meeting 2027,
- who have not received a travel grant from the NWG for the Göttingen Meeting 2025 or the FENS Forum 2026, and
- who are GNS members regardless of whether they work in Germany or abroad.
The financial support amounts to 300 EUR. The application for a stipend DOES NOT INCLUDE registration for the Göttingen Meeting.
This award is presented biennially in the odd years. The next applications close on October 14, 2026.
