The call for proposals for Postdoctoral Fellowships in Dementia from the Nasjonalforeningen for Folkehelsen supports postdoctoral researchers in Norway. The grant supports projects focusing on causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment (pharmacological and non-pharmacological) of dementia.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree or have submitted their doctoral thesis prior to the application submission deadline. Applicants must be employed at a Norwegian research institution or be guaranteed employment.
The funding provides salary and running costs corresponding to a three-year full-time position, for up to 72 months. The annual lump sum is 1 million NOK/year (full position), out of which 100,000 NOK/year is intended for running costs. It is possible to apply for funding for the first or second postdoctoral period.
