The Research on neurodegenerative diseases: Study of “aggregopathies” in neurodegenerative diseases from the Fondation de France supports academic research teams in France. Projects may be of fundamental or clinical research on neurodegenerative pathologies characterized by aggregopathy, and may address all the physiopathological mechanisms of these pathologies.
Applicants must be tenured researchers or clinicians affiliated with laboratories or academic research teams based in France. The goals are:
- Develop knowledge around pathologies associated with abnormal protein aggregation.
- Promote the emergence of innovative therapeutic solutions in the context of these pathologies.
The funding provides up to 150,000 EUR over 3 years.
