The Request For Applications for Research on the Effects of Gambling Policy Reforms in Brazil from the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) supports research focused on the effects of recent gambling policy reforms in Brazil. These reforms have the capacity to rapidly transform the gambling landscape, and they raise important questions about their societal, financial, and public health impacts.

The Principal Investigator (PI) must have a PhD, MD or other comparable terminal degree. Investigators who are not active PIs or Co-PIs or Co-Is on existing ICRG grants are strongly encouraged to apply. Domestic or international, public or private, non-profit or for-profit organizations are eligible to apply.

The funding provides up to 75,000 USD for 1 year and 25 percent of direct costs in Facilities & Administration or indirect costs. The total amount that may be requested is 187,500 USD. One grant will be awarded.
