The Seed Grants from the Brain Research Foundation support new and innovative projects, especially those of junior faculty who are working in new research directions. BRF Seed Grant awards are not intended to supplement existing grants. To be eligible, the PI must be a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor at an invited US academic institution, working in the area of studies of brain function.
The grants provide 100,000 USD over 2 years (direct costs only).
The letters of intent deadline is October 23, 2025, and the invited full applications close on March 5, 2026.
