The Senioritutkijan sapattiapuraha (Osk. Huttunen Fellowship) is offered by the Osk. Huttusen säätiö in partnership with Clare Hall College, University of Cambridge. The fellowship supports senior researchers undertaking sabbatical research at the University of Cambridge.
The fellowship application process is open to Finland-based professors and other academically meritorious senior researchers of at least docent-level standing, for a research period of six to twelve months at the University of Cambridge, typically spanning a full academic year with start and end dates suited to the fellow.
The fellowship covers accommodation and meals at the family-friendly Clare Hall College, as well as any bench fee charged by the university, and includes a personal grant of 10,000-50,000 EUR for 12 months.
This is an annual award. The next applications open on December 1, 2026, and close on January 15, 2027.
