The Sergievsky Award from the American Epilepsy Society (AES) supports early-career researchers in epilepsy research in the USA who are from underrepresented communities in biomedical research. Applicants must hold a M.D., D.O., Ph.D., Sc.D., PharmD or equivalent degree. Applicants must be be a clinical fellow, postdoctoral fellow, or newly appointed clinical faculty member. Applicants do not need to be US citizens but the research must be conducted at a US research institution. The fellowship provides funding of 75,000 USD/year for 2 years plus additional benefits, including 2 years of complimentary AES membership.
