The Kavli Prize from The Kavli Foundation and Det Norske Videnskaps-Akademi (DNVA) – The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, and The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research recognizes and honors scientists for breakthroughs in astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience – transforming our understanding of the big, the small and the complex. Nominations are open to anyone, self-nominations are not allowed. The Prize consists of 1 million USD for each field.
The next nomination period opens on July 1, and closes on October 1, 2025.
