The Warren Alpert Distinguished Scholar Awards are funded by the Warren Alpert Foundation to support exceptional neuroscience postdoctoral researchers in the USA who have completed a minimum of three years of postdoctoral fellowship. These awards are intended to facilitate the transition of the recipient from a mentored position to an independent faculty position.
The Awards provide 200,000 USD per year for 2 years to cover salary and research expenses. Up to 15% of these funds may be used toward indirect costs.
