Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID)

The Translational Research Grant from the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) supports and accelerates the translation of research discoveries into potential new treatments to protect and restore hearing and/or silence tinnitus.

The proposed projects should advance the development of novel therapeutics (excluding medical devices) for the treatment of hearing disorders, including tinnitus.

Applicants may be from any university, research institute, or small/medium enterprise based worldwide, except mainland China. The funding provides up to 100,000 GBP per year for up to 3 years.

Preliminary applications are due on September 10, 2026.
