The TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme is funded by The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) of the Ministry of Science and Technology, India, for scholars who wish to pursue a PhD in biotechnology in India. Funding is available for postgraduate research at key biotechnology research institutions in India, for “sandwich” or full-time regime.
Applicants must be not more than 35 years of age, be nationals of a developing nation other than India. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend to cover living costs, food and health insurance. Applicants should submit the Acceptance Letter from an Indian biotechnology institution to TWAS when applying.
