The Wellcome Prize for Mental Health Science with Nature seeks accelerate the development, adoption and policy prioritisation of effective interventions for anxiety, depression and psychosis. The award further wishes to generate enthusiasm for mental health science among policymakers, funders and the public, thereby encouraging greater investment in research. The Prize is open to research teams developing new, effective interventions for anxiety, depression or psychosis. Applications are open to universities, research institutions, non-profits and or small and medium sized enterprises.
The Prize consists of 1 first prize of 1 million USD; three runner ups will receive 250,000 USD.
